Today I have a lot of questions....

1.  why can I not get organized?
2.  are those "word verifications" on websites real words?
3.  why did Dante omit  'taking both children to overlapping dr appts during toddler nap time'  from his circles of hell?
4.  can someone tell me a stress reliever that is not illegal, or unhealthy, takes little time, and
can be done with your children watching? (this is not a joke, really asking here)
5.  how come no one told me that coffeemate has calories? (at 3 cups/day, the math is not
pretty)
6.  do people here really say words like "therpy" (therapy) and "swallered" (swallowed) and
"yuns" (you ens--- as in, "do you ens wana go to Cracker Barrell?).  I heard all of these in
the waiting room, right before I turned my ears off.
7.  will things EVER calm down here?

We took Garrett for an ENT consult today and to make a very long story short, he's getting tubes tomorrow at 10 am.  Tomorrow?!   With all that we've been through over the last few months with Ms Lilah, this really doesn't seem like that big of a deal (but, I am learning--and will bring tissues for sure!).  That in itself kind of makes me sad....am I really so emotionally exhausted that I can't generate some stress/fear over my child's surgery?  I am most worried about how to keep him from driving me batty for juice in the a.m. (by the way, I just told him he could have all the juice he wanted now, but none in the morning and he started crying--good luck to me).
Lilah is doing great! She's gained a pound in a month (great for us--15.4lbs total!) and.... drum-roll please....she rolled over! She continues to perfect the monkey shriek and is really enjoying lots of toys.  I'm starting to shop for some more "activation" toys...she loves lights and music and mostly, herself!

*8)  why can I not figure out Blogger spacing ???

Great post! Unfortunately, I don't have I don't have any good, safe, child proof stress relieving tips for you. If you hear of any, let me know! Like you, I have the hardest time with blogger spacing, guess that is why I am not a techie! Hope you are well, great news about Lilah and good luck with Garret's surgery!

Just left a comment and the word verfication was 'WISDUS'. Pretty sure thats not a word.

Sometimes being numb to things is good. The last time Lucas was in the hospital I didn't shed a tear the whole week. I thought there was something wrong with me. But afterwards I knew that I couldn't break down. I was alone that week and needed to be numb to it. Tomorrow G needs you to be strong. If you are worried and crying, he'll know that something is wrong. Its ok to feel the way you are feeling.

And Lilah is 15lbs?! That is so awesome. Good job girlie! Keep growing.

Wow, Gina, that was fast. Good luck today with the tubes, it will be over before you know it(maybe even before you read this). I'm sure it will all go smoothly and you will have Garrett, sleepy and goofy, home before he skips his afternoon nap.

It happens to be 10:09am on Thursday, April 2nd, and I am praying for your little guy as he is in surgery.

And on a side note, I stopped drinking coffee 1) because the caffeine really hypes me to the point where I feel jittery and just not good, but 2) because I only like it loaded with stuff that has lots of calories!! haha

My new addiction: smoothies! I have to have one every morning. Make them at home, and now my body craves them! Filled with fruit and natural energy.

Just a thought...

However, if I were you, I don't think I would let a few calories stop me from having my coffee!! Whatever helps you get through the day... ;)

I'm reading this April 2 in the p.m. and hoping that by now you are all home with G. Hope that things went well and this will end the cycle of ear issues with him (we've been through it all with our guy and it made a world of difference!) Always thankful for your honesty and your humor

My word verification :werspesm That sounds gross.

stress relief - wine, just one glass never hurt anyone, but I guess that wouldn't work at 10 am.

I totally feel your pain about the appointments. Any day that we don't visit a waiting room is a good day. Praying for your little man lots today! Your sense of humor in the midst of chaos is so great!

Gina, you are an amazing woman! I love hearing how God is weaving His story through you and Paul. I haven't been good at keeping in touch but please know that I truly miss both of you. Praying for you and Paul, Garret and Lilah!

Gina, reading your blog is stress reliever for me. Not because of your circumstances, but because of the humor embedded throughout each blog.

Chocolate ALWAYS works for me, but the calorie thing still gets you. :) Good music helps too! If I think of anything else I'll let you know.

Good talking with you today and glad Garrett's surgery went well. Praying for his cold to end quickly.

And big YEAH! for Lilah. What a miracle. Praise God!

Love your sweet family!
